Arlene’s Broadway on Buffalo, 236 Buffalo St., Conneaut, is seeking experienced theater directors for its 2023 season.
ABOB’s 2023 season includes: “A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody,” March 3-10, 10-12; “12 Incompetent Jurors,” April 21-23, 28-30; “The Fantastiks,” June 23-25, 30 and July 1-2; “Fight Nice,” Aug. 25-27; “Prism 2 – An Evening of Original One Acts,” Sept. 8-10; “:Jekyll Hydes Again,” Oct. 20-22, 27-29; and “It Happened One Christmas,” Dec. 8-10, 15-17. “The Fantastiks” and “Jekyll Hydes Again” are musicals and the remainder are a mix of comedies and dramas.
“A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody” is under the direction of David Bucci and ABOB vet Douglas Anderson has claimed “The Fantastiks,” but directors have not been named for the remaining shows. Rehearsals are typically in the evenings, Sunday through Thursday. Directors receive a stipend for their work.
